Missions and objectives

Established in 1964 the “Fédération des producteurs d’oeufs de consommation du Québec” (FPOCQ), [Quebec federation of table eggs producers] is the first federation to set up a joint marketing, and production plan. The objectives of the Federation are to contribute to the long term development of the Quebec Egg Industry by respecting the environment, the well-being of animals, providing and equitable revenue for the contributors of this sector and by meeting the expectations of the consumers with high quality eggs and products.

In addition to managing the supply, the organisation structure of the FPOCQ is also involved in promoting eggs to consumers. It coordinates publicity and informations campaigns to promote the nutritional qualities or eggs.
